CanTeen is a NZ based charity supporting teenagers with cancer, and their families. Every year they release a bandanna range, often using designs contributed by famous personalities. I have been collecting these for years, intending to make them into a quilt; this Block of the Month course is the perfect opportunity. When completed I am hoping it is good enough to donate to Canteen.
What was your inspiration?
The heroism of these young people, and their parents and siblings.
Though the younger members of my immediate family have been mercifully spared, my heart goes out to those not so unfortunate.
