What materials did you use? Handmade Polymer Clay Beads for Clothing and Beaded Pulls for Handbags and Soft Luggage.

What are you most proud of? Slices of polymer clay canes I applied remind me of candy. How did I get into the candy theme? I took up a color challenge a month ago--promising to try out different color combinations--colors I always avoid using like--pink 'n brown. I think I used the phrasing that I'd be holding my nose working with pink and brown print fabric? Well, I must admit, once I started studying ugly colors--I kinda of like 'em a bit more now. Let's just say--I'm beginning to appreciate them.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Please promise to play around more with color combinations you feel are ugly. Just because Mom wouldn't let me wear a pink sweater with a red skirt when I was a kid--doesn't mean its a rule. I'm having fun experimenting with funky colors. I hope you will too. Best wishes for a great sewing day! Your friend, Shoestring

Hello 2 strings. Thanks for your support on my challenge to use colors out of my comfort zone. It is fun to hear pink and brown feels calm to you. Regarding army greens and browns -- I can send you some camo fabric if you want to take up the challenege. What do you say?

Hello Christine. Love your comment about my candy buttons look good enough to eat. Would you like a handful or a bowl of them? Best wishes to you Christine.

How totally awesome! Yes, they do look like candy. Looks as though you and the other crafters have been very busy while I was off on my trip and trying to get the yard back in shape after I got back. It will take me a while to catch up. Summer is always a busy time with other activities here, so you might not see much more quilting or crafting from me until the fall rains start.

Hey Linda! This is really cool! I'm probably a little crazy, but I can't find your info. So how 'bout mine. I have a gmail account that has my first initial and last name.

Love your buttons and beads!! I did get the book that you suggested, I've made a few buttons for projects but I'm really looking forward into doing more.
