Candy Corn

Is this your project? Can you share instructions or a pattern with the Craftsy community?

Difficulty:

Category: Spinning

Type of item: Functional

For: Other

Style: Cute, Holiday, Classic, Traditional

Materials

Merino/ Silk- 70/30 combed top, Kromski Fantasia Wheel.

What was your inspiration?

Candy corn for sure!! I love this halloween treat and can eat an entire bag all by myself. I thought some fingerless mitts might be cute!

I decided to keep this a single ply since I love Madelinetosh light so much and wanted to mimic that look. I was able to keep it pretty evenly spun with a nice tight twist for stitch definition (but not too tight).

Light fingering weight
480 yds

Did you separate the colorways! Or split the roving in strips?

I split the roving into two halves so the colors would repeat twice.
