What was your inspiration?

A dear childhood friend, and serving member of our military,son had brain cancer. I made this quilt as a raffle item for a fundraiser to benefit the family.

What are you most proud of?

That this quilt made a good contribution to a fundraiser for a deserving family.

I like this quilt! I have a friend from Canada and she took me home with her one year for Thanksgiving. I loved Canada. Of course it wasn't winter,lol

Very nice! I think my kids would like this quilt. They both live in B.C. (Canadian by birth), but I live in the States, so I'll shop online for the Maple Leaf fabric.

I dont know if fabricland has an online option, but thats where i got rhe fabric. They had several different maple leaf patterns. Just an.idea, but since the kids are Canadian born but now live in the U.S. alternating maple leaf squares with red white and blue squares might be kinda cool.
