What was your inspiration?
The Cambridge Shrug was designed based on Kate Middletons wedding shrug. Hers was white and in a fuzzy angora, but I thought the grey suited more occasions and my wardrobe. When knit in white, I think it would be perfect for anyone's wedding reception.
What are you most proud of?
The adjustable sleeve length. The design of the sleeve caps is such that anyone can adjust the sleeve length. They are knitted using a provisional cast-on at the base of the sleeve cap so they can be left short, knit to 3/4 length, or full length.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you choose the fluffy yarn, use a crochet hook to help cast-on. It makes sure the entire stitch makes it through your loops.
