What was your inspiration?
My grandparents live way out in the country. When I was younger, my cousins and I would play on the hill above their house. There was a trail up the hillside, and we had a little "treehouse" where we would spend the day. The stitch patterns used are reminiscent of a trail leading into the leafy woods.
What are you most proud of?
I took several stitch patterns that I loved and told one of the many stories of my grandparents' cabin.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Lifelines and stitch markers can help you find and fix mistakes.
