I'm glad I didn't go buck wild and make the cake look too busy.
I love this cake!! But the center tier...is this covered in fondant too? How did you stick the sanding sugar to it?? (With clear gel?)
Hi kjgm52. Yes the middle tier is covered in fondant and all I did was lightly wet the fondant with water (i used a paint brush), I placed the cake in a baking sheet and carefully poured the sugar crystal all around.

Hi Bite Me Bakery, sorry I didn't see this until now. The gold was airbrushed in several layers; however making sure that you let the cake dry after each layer, otherwise it will create droplets on the cake and may drip
