What was your inspiration?
My niece is getting married next week, and the cake we designed has an elegant, "bling-y" feel. I wanted the topper to be lush, as the rest of the cake will not have flowers - rhinestone banding, and other designs on the tiers, so I needed to strike a balance.
What are you most proud of?
I LOVE the green hydrangeas that have the tinge of pink, that I learned to create in the "Handcrafted Sugar Flowers" course.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have patience, and expect that some will break, so always make extras!
