What was your inspiration?
Found the skein on the clearance rack at my local Joann Fabrics store, the pattern was on the ball band, the pattern only took one skein, and the clearance price was only $1.97.
What are you most proud of?
This was only my second project involving cables, but the cableing was so easy that I was able to start the project on a Saturday morning and finish on Sunday afternoon. It was a great travel project for weekend soccer games and now I have a new hat to wear as the weather cools down.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't be afraid of cables. The basic ones are pretty easy and once you do several projects with them you will probably be ready to tackle more involved ones.
