Instructions

This is a 97.8% "done" WIP!!! I'm such a slacker sometimes! Background story... I started designing this knitting sweater dress for myself a couple of years ago. All I knew was that I wanted it to be fuchsia and have texture (i.e. CABLES!). I remember finding the perfect color and price yarn on Cascade 220. I knitted it diligently for 2 months, probably... and apparently I completely "FORGOT" ...

I know what you mean about being in the middle of projects: I'm in the middle of about five projects and am always looking for something new to start....

It's gorgeous!! I'm working on a tunic going on about a year now!! I'd love to get it done by the end of this year but I don't think that will happen with all the knitted gifts I have to get done!! Way to go almost getting it done!! Finish it up girl!! Whoo hoo!!!

I love tunics! I love anything that I can wear and will flatter my gigantic hips ;-). I feel that tunics and longer sweater helps with that, yet is har to find ready made tunics or longer shirts in general. I understand how hard it is to actually make something for ourselves... there are always other priorities, right? Now I'm trying to find the yarn I used for this so I can do the seams. I hope I'll find it.

I know the feeling. I recently did a show and found a serious amount of odds and ends projects that just needed buttons or little things that took 10 minutes to do, but I found other yarn that I couldn't wait to get to. Really, how long does it take to trim a shrug!?!? Finish your cute little dress! It's bright and happy and perfect to brighten up a dull day!

Isn't that something? I admire people who can stick to one project at the time from A to Z... I have way too many interests. I know. This would be just perfect for this season. The newest color trend for this Fall/Winter seasons are happy, hot colors... lots of pinks, reds. I would actually be "in"... even though I love hot colors regardless of trends ;-).
