What was your inspiration?
I've been wanting to learn cable knitting for such a long time and decided to to start with a hat as I've only made one other sweater.
What are you most proud of?
Continuity. Lots of times in my kniting I get really excited at the begining and tend to lose interest near the end and just want to move on to the next project that my stitches aren't always the same size. Also, because I lose interest sometimes I choose not to fix a mistake and it ends up thats the only thing I can see. This one turned out really well!!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Definetly keep track of your rows. I mis-counted several times and ended up with larger sized cables and then had to go back and undo the rows to fix it.
