I used Caron Simply Soft yarn in grey and 4.5 mm (US 7) bamboo circular needles. The pattern came from Ravelry.com
What was your inspiration?
I needed a new project and saw this pattern. I love cable knits and feather patterns, so what a great combination to stumble across! I also thought this pattern would help challenge my pattern skills.
What are you most proud of?
I think it turned out beautifully. I've only worn it once since fall has just begun, but I've already received compliments on it!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Remember to take your time to count when casting on. It's also important to count during the entire project, but I found counting the initial stitches to be the most frustrating part.
