That looks fantastic Lou, and I love the model. I might even pop down to Spotlight and have a go myself.

I'm so glad! Thanks for responding! On a side note, my mum is from Edinburgh and she and my dad have been very fortunate to have been back to see her family and friends over the last 50 years. They have been to your beautiful Highlands and speak of its beauty! They are up there in years now, so traveling is quite a chore! My brothers and I have been very fortunate to have been to Scotland a number of times ourselves! We are proud Scots!

Sharyn, in reading your note, I see you ran our of yarn! :( As I am the designer, I am VERY interested to know....I'm assuming you used the Lion Brand Thick & Quick (super bulky weight 6) yarn (108 yards) indicated in the instructions! I know that some of the knitters used a lighter weight! I'm just curious about your experience! Please let me know, as I want a satisfied customer! :) sheila

Sheila, I am a totally satisfied customer, I'm soo proud I could follow your instructions and it looked like it's meant to look. I probably used the a heavier yarn. I live in a small town in Highland Scotland so have to take what is on offer(not much!)....I used a Braemar Chunky as I thought that would be bulky enough. I love my cowl Sheila and have had many comments on it. Thank you for the tutorial.
