What are you most proud of? That even though there are tons of imperfections, it still looks as good as it does. Swirls now seem easy. I also tried out some things and learned from them - such as the echo quilting around the large circles didn't make them pop as much as quilting small scale motifs right up next to the large circles would have.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you are working on a regular sewing machine, keep your practice piece small - no bigger than 40 x 40 ". This will allow you to focus more on the quilting and less on moving around and supporting a large quilt.
