Vintage Red and White tablecloths

What was your inspiration?

I saw a Log Cabin kitchen on Google. The kitchen colors were the same as mine, the layout was different...it had red and white valance over the kitchen sink....I used the only fabric I had...which was vintage red and white checked tablecloths.....my jewels...but I cut them anyway...it was free.

What are you most proud of?

Saving the expense of buying new curtains from a retail store is the best...making them myself...is second best...

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Cut a long rectangle shape, measure your windows...add trim and decide for yourself if you like it. Go for it and don't be afraid...it's ok to design your things for your own home the way you like them to look.
