What are you most proud of? The process was new to me, but I quickly enjoyed piecing fabrics and creating a wonderful tote.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Use your favourite fabrics and play with them. I used stash fabric that was part of my sewing career. I remember making dresses for my girls, decor items for my home, and other projects that were filled with love. Each piece carries a warm memory and make this bag truly a creation filled with love.

I love the quilt-as-you-go process. It is a fun and easy way to play with colour, textures, and patterns. I used fabric from my stash, which brought many memories to the surface. Each fabric holds a memory of what I made, who I made it for, and other life events around the time it was added to my stash. This is truly a love filled tote.
