What was your inspiration?
Mc Calls buzz saw web pattern on front, Stack the Deck Crazy Quilts book by Karla Alexander on back.
I used up the extra fabric by making six 18" stack the deck blocks on the back and framed them with leftover strips from the front.
What are you most proud of?
This quilt practically made itself! It went together very quickly with easy piecing.
I really enjoyed doing the stack the deck method and will use it again, especially on the backs.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I used chosen prints, but this would be a good scrappy stash-buster quilt, too.
