Cast on 45 stitches do 40 rows 1x1 rib or 2x2 rib knit 40 rows cast off..... knit another the same...... Sew up sides then sew top to make X.....then make 4 or 6 crocheted strips about 40 to 50 chains sew buttons both end fold on half sew to top of hat ....fold rib in half stitch to sides to hold rib in placeDifficulty:
