Instructions
I free-motion quilted the outlines on a beautiful fabric that was layered as a quilt. I also quilted simple shapes and textures on a section of a silk quilt sandwich. After cutting out the flower shape from the silk quilt, I free-motion appliqued it to the butterfly quilt. Trimmed the piece to fit a typical postcard (using cardstock). Having fun and making something usable too!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Anything goes! Doesn't have to be quilted... would make a great kids craft project with leftover materials. :)
