Instructions

I free-motion quilted the outlines on a beautiful fabric that was layered as a quilt. I also quilted simple shapes and textures on a section of a silk quilt sandwich. After cutting out the flower shape from the silk quilt, I free-motion appliqued it to the butterfly quilt. Trimmed the piece to fit a typical postcard (using cardstock). All of the unique postcards I was seeing on blogs and craft sites.

What are you most proud of?

Having fun and making something usable too!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Anything goes! Doesn't have to be quilted... would make a great kids craft project with leftover materials. :)
