Rich fruit cake, marzipan, fondant icing and petal paste for the butterflies
What was your inspiration?
No inspiration this was a rush cake so just used what I had left from previous cakes. Had some spare butterflies so just petal dusted them to give the cake a little colour and my mum likes bling so just added a few diamanti stones to keep her happy
What are you most proud of?
This cake was decorated very quickly and was admired by everyone attending the party
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you have leftovers always store them carefully as you never know when you might need them
