I started with the center butterfly fabric and then made pinwheel blocks with fabric to match the butterfly colors. I didn't use a specific pattern for this quilt just kept adding to it until I liked the finished product. I made it for our 5 year old grand daughter for a Christmas gift. This is a picture of the finished quilt top, I have yet to quilt it.
What was your inspiration?
My beautiful grand daughter who loves butterfiles.
What are you most proud of?
The bright colors that came together so well.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Start with a main fabric theme and then find contrasting fabric that match. Make sure and use a quality "white on white" fabric for the pinwheels.
