how can I do for make a butter cream with a texture solid for decorating cakes I tried but the texture was soft

I tried to make a solid butter cream but I didn't the butter cream was so sof t what can I do for fix the problem

I use 2 sticks of room temp butter with 2 cups of crisco. Cream together. Add 2 lbs of powder sugar slowly 1 tsp vanilla 1 tsp butter extract 1/2tsp almond extract mix for about 5 mins on medium. This buttercream holds up nice.
