How did you start the ruffles? From the bottom or the top. Also, how did you apply it?

Tip 104 Atecco, I use Fluffy Vanilla Frosting and I Start from bottom to top.... Flawless work, beautiful flower!

Thank you, I actually started from the top to bottom so the ruffles can look like they are opening up like a flower. I believed I used tip 103 and the buttercream was medium consistency to maintain its ruffle shape. The flower was made of gumpaste.
