What was your inspiration?

I wanted to design a piece of jewelry that incorporated beads and was EASY! Something people could whip up in a night for gifts, or themselves!

What are you most proud of?

I love the way the beads hang in a "swag" at the center of the neck, and also how beautifully it lays... absolutely love this necklace!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

GO FOR IT! It's only 8 rows of garter stitch, so even if you haven't knitted with beads before it's a GREAT first pattern to get yourself working with them!

I have a question on the first row where you casting on and have to put the beads in the middle.... My first try I think I pulled too tight between the last cast on and the long string of beads and the next cast on.... should I be allowed the yarn to float between cast ons?

I think this would be perfect for me. I just turned 50 and am starting to get wrinkles right below the collar bone, this could cover that up with the way it falls and be beautiful and interesting at the same time! Thanks!

I bought this and I can't wait to get started, but the materials list says needles, and the pattern says crochet! I can knit and crochet, so I won't have a problem either what, but what size crochet hook should I use?

Whoops, you found errata!!!! That should say "hook" not needles... I will fix it right away! So sorry! I had a tech editor go over it twice AND two test crocheters and no one caught that!
