What was your inspiration?

I was inspired to make this pattern as a lunch sack for my preschool aged daughter. Preschoolers just love animals and I use this bag when I am snack mom at the preschool.

What are you most proud of?

This is one of the first patterns I ever designed. I love how simple it is to make, even though it make seem complex. Plus, I think that with a few basic adjustments, you could change this pattern into so many different animals. I have personally made cows, pigs, dragons, and more from the basic pattern.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Put aside about 1-2 hours if you are a beginner. Appliqueing the pieces does take some time.
