Grey embroidered taffetta, black satin, lots of thread and elastic.
What was your inspiration?
I love the style and having been to a couple of steampunk events I wanted to wear something a bit more funky. (I'm not keen on brown!)
What are you most proud of?
The way the skirt falls at the back and the pleats in the front.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Read the pattern several times and be prepared to modify it.
