Instructions

I was unable to find a silk flower that I liked so used scraps of fabric from the wedding dress I am making my daughter to make the petals. As her theme for the reception is burlap and lace, I wanted to include these as just a touch. The vintage button center of the flower is one from her grandmother's button stash from years ago.

What was your inspiration?

I was unable to find silk flowers at the stores near me so used scraps of fabric from the wedding dress I am making my daughter to make the petals of this flower. As her theme for the reception is burlap and lace, I wanted to include these as just a touch. The vintage button center of the flower is one from her grandmother's button stash from years ago. I plan to also make a net face veil for my daughter to use if she would like and a cathedral veil to go with this.
