Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: Used Nick Lodges class intensively as well as photographing a real peony to study it. I thought my cutters were a little to frilly for the outer petals so I modified my flower by using a large rose petal for the outer layers which I think produced a less "structured" effect. I also used Cake Lace for the first time. The initials plaque was an edible image cut with an electronic cutter.
