What was your inspiration?
i wanted a big comfy sweater to wear during winter.
What are you most proud of?
after i made this sweater it sat sadly on my table for a week before i took it apart to make it fit me. i was going to give it away which i have the tendency to do when i feel that i have failed at a project. this time though, after my husband gave me a lecture.....ahem....nice pep talk; i took the time to make it fit. glad i did!
so now i must hurry & make another sweater for my dear friend:) at least second time around will go very quickly!!!
i set the sleeves using the flat method. awesome way to set sleeves. i took the sewing with knits class here on craftsy before i made this sweater, which ended up being extremely helpful! next i will be making the classes shirt with an awesome knit i just found.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
take the craftsy sewing with knits class if you haven't worked with knits. very very helpful!!!
