What was your inspiration?
i saw this pocketbook online and i like the pattern of it because the top of the bag is suede and i wanted to try to duplicate that in fondant.
What are you most proud of?
the technique i used to duplicate the suede, i used a pair of suede gloves as a referral, they actually looked very simular, so iam very proud of that.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
i found the pocketbook easy because of the course, the suede technique was the hardest, for me, using ur finger the give the look of the suede as you combine the petal dust over the fondant was better that using anything else, i tried a brush first, didnt like the look of it, i tried a makeup sponge, was close but not dead on, then i used my finger and it really looked like suede.
