Materials

Paper scissors, pinking sheers, rotary cutter with 2 different blades, rulers and a cutting mat, a glue stick, a tiny round hole punch, heart shaped hole punch, bakers twine, template plastic and my computer and printer.

What was your inspiration?

A project by artist Shannon Sawyer for a journal which she calls a Christmas "To Do" list. The cover of the journal features a banner similar to the one I made in that it used the words Joyeux Noel.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This was really fun and easy to do. It would be a great project to do with kids too! Other occasions you could make buntings for might be: New Years, Valentines Day, Graduation, Anniversary, Retirement... The list goes on!
