Red Heart Super Saver yarn, held doubled (any bulky weight yarn will do, or any worsted weight yarn[s] held doubled).
What was your inspiration?
I wanted to design a simple, quick pet mat that still was interesting to make and to look at. Hence the circle-in-a-square idea, and the colour changes.
What are you most proud of?
Helping to support animal shelters.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Shelter animals won't care what it looks like, they'll just be happy to have a new mat, so don't sweat mistakes!
