Style: Cute, Whimsical, Casual, Holiday

Fabric, thread, fusible fleece,

What was your inspiration?

The free Craftsy course inspired me and the pictures that were posted by people who had already made the bag.

What are you most proud of?

I pulled out my creative thinking cap for this project and used Christmas panels to make it fun and added piping to the top of the pocket for a little something extra.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Seeing the round circle bottoms to the side panels is a little tricky so just take it slow and check for unwanted tucks frequently.

Thank you! The piping was actually created to cover a mistake I had made. I cut the panel out in the wrong place and in order to keep the picture as I wanted it to be, I had to make a seam at the top of the pocket rather than fold it. The piping made the seam more attractive and I was able to save the panel rather than toss it!
