An old crochet pattern I dearly love and that I'd liked to turn into a knitting pattern on a beanie!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?
It's easier than you think there are at most two colors in one round. If you weave in the ends during knitting, it will be less work at the end sewing in the ends with a tapestry needle.
