Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Beyond Basic Broomstick Lace »

Instructions

Stash busting special! Decided to use it for carrying my scissors and other crochet bits so lined it with a disposable yellow dishcloth for a little wadding.

Difficulty:

Category: Crocheting

Type of item: Functional

For: Women

Style: Funky

Materials

Unlabelled ball of wool from my stash 100% cotton, odd earing (other was lost!), piece of lining fabric pink and a yellow dishcloth (unused)

What was your inspiration?

Followed the instructions on the course. Except I didn't have the 3.25mm crochet hook to start. Next time I will use a 3.5mm rather than the 3mm as it was a little tight. Would love to do this on a round base would make a lovely Victorian styled/Steam punked purse.

What are you most proud of?

My first attempt at Broomstick, only one mistake and following the course resolved that for me.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Finished in no time, a quick evening project. Would recommend as last minutes gifts.

I fancy it a little larger and with a round base, to go with a victorian style jacket
