What materials did you use? Everything was cotton. Freezer paper for the panel. I was inspired by the lace quilt in the class and drew out the design on the freezer paper.

You brave girl you! I tried talking my daughter into trying this but never thought of tackling it myself. You've inspired me!

It really was fun! I just took a long piece of freezer paper and drew out the design (twice...). The first time I drew it, I made it the way I wanted it to look not realizing that it would be sewn backwards. Well, I knew it, but I wasn't thinking far enough ahead. Anyway, after re-doing it, I just picked lines where I could break them into blocks, cut them all apart (about 9) and when I began sewing, I just made sure I had a 1/4" seam allowance on all the edges. Try it!

Looks great....I like the quilting too!

Thanks! I was too afraid to tackle the quilting on this one. I wanted it to be perfect, so I paid a professional to mimic the lines of my panel.

Nice! Very talented to work it all out on your own!
