This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Bag-Making Basics: Drawstring Bag & Bucket Bag »

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Accessory

For: Other

Style: Classic

Materials

Re-purposed a table runner into three bags; one box bag and two drawstring bags. Fabric was a brocade with lighter weight cotton for the lining. I used ribbon for the drawstrings and tabs.

What was your inspiration?

I wanted some more knitting project bags, and thought they would be a good way to learn more about my new machine. Love this fabric, and I am very happy to have salvaged the table runner into bags!

What are you most proud of?

This was my first time making a box bag, and I am very happy with how it turned out.

These little bags would be great in my suitcase when I travel. Great storage. I love the fabric--looks like a designer set to me.
