An overflowing bin of scrap strips and one sample block that I made to learn how to sew set-in seams,
What are you most proud of?
After finally figuring out how to sew a set in seam, writing a step-by-step photo tutorial on how to make this star block. You can find it at http://www.canuckquilter.blogspot.com/2013/01/small-lone-star-block-tutorial.html.
I am also very pleased with the free motion background fillers that I practiced in the blocks. I hadn't tried these before.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
