What was your inspiration?
I'd made a long dress with a panel of this in the front. When I thought about what I might make of the remnants, the scraps just seemed to say to me, "Why not a bag with a similar panel?"
What are you most proud of?
I like the wild color scheme.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Anyone with even a little bit of sewing experience could probably make one similar without a pattern. I covered webbing with a matching fabric for the handles, but one could use webbing alone if you found one to match the fabric or one could use a heavy interfacing inside the straps.
