Instructions

I used about 1 & 1/2 white cake mixes. I added purple food coloring because the bride's color was purple. This isn't neccesary I just added it for fun. I baked the cake right in the glass measuring bowl. You have to bake it for about 70 minutes. Once the cake cools you'll need to level off the bottom (the larger end) so it sits flat. What was your inspiration?

I saw this done as a princess dress and immediately thought if I used white frosting instead of pink it would look like a bride.

I got mine from Joann's in the cake decorating section. Michaels sells them too or you could always try Amazon. They sell them with different color hair so you can try for your best match. I've also seen it done where you can make a hole down the center of the cake and insert a full Barbie (wrapped in plastic first). The doll pick is cheaper!!
