What are you most proud of? The bride's dress and veil have been customised to reflect the real thing. I thought the little wedding rings were fun too.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Use quite thick/stiff wadding for the cake. Mine is a little soft and the cake looks a bit like a squashed ball! You'll need a variety of needles for the various sewing jobs needed. A long straight darning needle was very helpful with the knots for the flowers in the bouquet. The roses around the cake are the fiddliest part but by the time you've done six you get the knack.

07/15/2016 Flag This is the link to the pattern. The bridesmaids are the same as the bride but using a colour and not doing the veil and bouquet.
