Instructions

I used the cricut cartridge called tags, bags, boxes and more, to cut out the boxes. You will then need to score the lines for folding. The sizes of the boxes for three tiers: for the bottom layer cut at 9", for the middle layer cut at 7" and for the top layer they are cut at 5". Now I cut the boxes out twice, you will need to do this if you want to emboss the tops of them. ...

Category: Paper Crafts

Type of item: Functional

For: Women

Style: Formal / Bridal

Materials

white card stock for the boxes, using a cuddle bug folder to emboss the tops, I put diamond studs on them and pearls around the edge of the boxes. Inside I placed candy favors

What was your inspiration?

My daughters bridal shower

What are you most proud of?

I was able to complete this in time for the shower within just a few days!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I also made a three layer wedding cake using the same dimensions as the box above. Those boxes are cut at 9". The wedding cake was for a rehearsal dinner for my daughter. Unfortunately I cannot find a picture of it!

Darling and very very creative. And I am sure they had to pick you up off the floor afterwards, considering everything you had to do and stress about. What , if anything, can you do with this?

The box is made from the Tags, Bags and more cartridge for the Cricut Machine. Do you have the machine? If so, you may still be able to find that cartridge provocraft did retire it I believe but some are still around. The box I cut from the cricut machine was set at 9". I cut the boxes out twice because I wanted to emboss the top of each box using my cuttlebug. I then just cut the triangle out of the embossed box and glue to the top of the box as you see it. Good luck

Thanks so much for this great idea. Your presentation of all the slices stacked together must have been beautiful! I'm going to try this for an anniversary party coming up.
