I used the cricut cartridge called tags, bags, boxes and more, to cut out the boxes. You will then need to score the lines for folding. The sizes of the boxes for three tiers: for the bottom layer cut at 9", for the middle layer cut at 7" and for the top layer they are cut at 5". Now I cut the boxes out twice, you will need to do this if you want to emboss the tops of them. For the extra boxes that I wanted to emboss I cut out the top triangle in order to fit threw my cuddle bug and just glued them onto the top of the box being used for the favors or cake. I used the embossing folder with the swirls to make it look more like frosting. I also used Ice Stickles in the color of Crystal Ice to decorate some of the swirls on the top. For the top pink border I used a Martha Steward border punch and then fit to size. For the wedding cake I made, I purchase the round cardboard base one would use for a real cake, I layered the boxes and added some flowers I made the color of eggplant. I also purchased at JF a tub of very small white pearls that are in one continuous string and glued those around the edge of the top of each box (making the triangle). this was very pretty.. I also added sparingly some crystals on the cake with of course some Ice Stickels also. I then purchase about 1 1/2 yards of tulle and wrapped the cake up with a bow to match. Hope this is helpful. Oh you will need the heavier card stock for the boxes, which I used to put some nice chocolates in.

My daughters bridal shower
What are you most proud of?
I was able to complete this in time for the shower within just a few days!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I also made a three layer wedding cake using the same dimensions as the box above. Those boxes are cut at 9". The wedding cake was for a rehearsal dinner for my daughter. Unfortunately I cannot find a picture of it!
