What materials did you use? I used 100% organic cotton thread, bridal veil, fresh water pearls and beautiful goose feathers on a ribbon wrapped 1/2" headband. You can customize the look by changing the positioning of the flower and the way you attach the veil to the headband. It becomes a beautiful fascinator that can accessorize any garment and accentuate any look. Made in bright colors makes it the perfect accessory for Spring, Summer, or any special event. :)

What are you most proud of? The end result, after hours of trying to figure out what would make this piece special, but most of all, proud to have been able to somewhat be a part of the biggest day of the brides who have worn this piece. If you are interested in buying the finished item, please feel free to contact me at sasuga_c@hotmail.com for details. :)

What advice would you give someone starting this project? The piece itself has a lot of detail to it that can be easily modified to make it your own. Be creative! Have fun!

Hi Crochetedinlove, several times people have asked me if this is the pattern that you are referring to. A friend of mine got me the magazine, so that I could compare, and even though there very few similarities (mainly the flower which was inspired by a vintage crochet pattern that I own) on the finished item, the pattern itself is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. I actually did the one on the magazine, and it came out completely different! So before making any accusations, I would appreciate you doing a little bit more research.

Maybe my mistake was adding those pictures to my listing, to show a variation of the feathers, but in no way does that violate anybody's rights to the pattern that was published in the magazine.
