What was your inspiration?
My son-in-law Brian loves muscle cars and I found the fabric I used for the backing first, about 3 years ago. I couldn't bear the thought of cutting up the cars but couldn't decide what to do for his quilt. In early 2010 I happened up the "Route 66" fabric and knew what I would do. I fussy cut the "Route 66" fabric so all the center squares of my Shoo Fly pattern would highlight the images.
