What are you most proud of? My Friend loves it. It looks professional in both of our eyes. It was more of a challenge that I expected and took longer than expected. It was worth it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Really study the design in your fabric to see if you can help it tell a story, especially with a fabric like this toile. I wanted the ladies in the field to be center stage and worked to incorporate two different landscapes for the side sections. It was fun to match up the different kinds of tree leaves and trunks for the sides. I think it gives it somewhat of a panoramic look and less of a fabric repeat. Re-watch this course video as many times as it takes. That is much better than having to un-sew and you cannot uncut! The course is excellent. The answers to my questions were prompt and very helpful. Do not be afraid to ask a question, even if you have to ask it twice for extra clarification.

You did a beautiful job! I have always loved the fabric you used. Using it to do a valence instead of drapes saves fabric -yes? What room was this valance used in? Can't wait to see your next project!
