Share a little about the ingredients and techniques used to create this dish/item. I had a pork shoulder in the freezer that I had been looking to use up for awhile. This recipe was so easy to follow and the results were really impressive!

Looks delectably tender. Are those mashed potatoes underneath? I love serving something starchy with a good braise to soak up all the tasty juices.
