What was your inspiration?

This is PlayinHooky's Brain Waves Beanie hat pattern. I saw it on her blog when I was looking up how to do the invisible finish for another crochet project.

What are you most proud of?

I am so happy that I can do more than straight stripes on a hat now. I'm still pretty new to crochet, this was my first time doing some thing other than stripes when changing color.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I made my beanie longer than what the pattern called for because of my hair. I normally wear it in twists or a puff so I made it long enough to fit over my hair.
