What materials did you use? Both my kids are out of the cot now so I had quite a few flannel sheets that I'd no longer be needing. So I've recycled those, as well as the flannel baby receiving blankets I used for my son.

What are you most proud of? I love all the colours! It really brightens our loo! I used six different flannel prints in this rug. I also like that I have made it using sheets that I was otherwise ready to throw out.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? My sewing machine complained alot sewing the thickness of this project. Drove me insane! The top thread was constantly breaking and there'd be a tangle of thread on the bottom. If anyone knows what causes this and how to fix it I'd LOVE to hear from them!

Is the pattern free? Where is it?

Try using a walking foot and very strong thread in upper and lower feeds, to prevent thread from breaking. Ina

Maybe try thread you use for jeans? Jeans are heavy and the thread would have to be also. Try it.

Great colours - really lovely way to use up odds and ends.
