What was your inspiration?

My sister Melanie. She has beautiful curly hair and goes to school in downtown Chicago. Her hair would either be a windblown mess or a smooshed frizzy mess by the time she got to school. So when I saw a pattern for this hood in French Girl Knits I knew it was perfect for her. The colors were amazing, probably one of the most beautiful yarns I've ever used. It has a drawstring for around the face and is lined with a complimentary green cotton fabric. It has beautiful stitch definition and is so soft to the touch.

What are you most proud of?

The whole beautiful thing! It turned out so perfectly.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Read the pattern all the way through and make sure you understand what they're talking about.
